1. Data We Collect

PictoCard is designed to minimise data collection. We do not store any emails, uploaded images, or personal information on our servers after your session ends.

2. Session Data

During the card-creation flow we temporarily hold the following in your browser session (server-side, in memory only):

• Your name and email address (for verification)
• The recipient's email or Discord username
• The uploaded image and card text
• The generated card image

This data is automatically discarded once the card is sent or the server restarts. It is never written to disk or a database.

3. Email Delivery

Emails are sent via a third-party SMTP provider. The provider may retain delivery logs in accordance with their own privacy policy. We send a verification code to the sender and the finished card to the recipient - no further email marketing is conducted.

4. Opt-out List

If you opt out via the opt-out page your email address is added to an in-memory list that prevents cards from being sent to you. This list is also cleared on server restart and is never persisted.

5. Discord

If you connect your Discord account, we receive your Discord username and ID temporarily for the purpose of sending a card. No Discord data is stored beyond the current session.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to track the card-creation flow. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
